Lashes
The first 48 hours
Keep new lashes away from water for 48 hours — no showers, pools, saunas, steam, or gym sweat. Moisture weakens the glue bonding each extension.
If they get wet by accident, don't panic. Gently pat them with a clean paper towel, then brush them and blow dry on the lowest, coolest setting until dry.
Lash Extensions — the do's and don'ts
Do
- Brush them daily with a clean spoolie to keep them tidy
- Sleep on your back or a silk pillowcase where you can
- Cleanse gently with a lash-safe, oil-free foam every few days
- Book a fill every 2–3 weeks before too many shed
- Blot dry and cool-air blow dry if they get wet
Don't
- Get them wet for the first 48 hours
- Use oil-based cleansers, makeup, or removers near the lash line
- Rub, pull, pick, or twist the extensions
- Use mascara or a lash curler on the extensions
- Skip fills so long it becomes a full new set
